2X4 CONTEST RULES

1. Material---One piece pine/fir 2”x 4”x 16” (construction grade)
2. Object---Fabricate some object/objects from the piece of wood.                
3. Object categories:
1. Turned objects
2. All other objects
4. Only glue is permitted if needed, no other type fastening devices
5. No finish on wood, wood burning is allowable.
6. Items must be bona fide objects, no bags of sawdust, toothpicks, pickup sticks, etc.  ONLY ONE ENTRY PER PERSON PER CATEGORY.
7. Prizes---each category

             1^st place--$50.00

             2^nd place--$25.00

             3^rd place--$15.00

8. Selection of winners

Each person presenting an entry in either category is given a ticket. During the show and tell portion of the contest, each entrant gives an explanation of his entry.   At the completion of the explanations,

Tickets are drawn for the three prizes in each category.
